This was my chosen recipe, as an appetizer, to treat my guests with at our New Years Eve “Bring and Braai” event.
This idea was inspired by: Pick n Pay Fresh Living Magazine, December 2019, Edition 135, p. 70 SAMOOSA PARTY WREATH
Ingredients:
Defrost the Samoosas if necessary. Switch on your favorite music playlist and place a pan over medium heat with a dash of oil of your choice- I chose to fry the Samoosas in a pan, you can deep fry the Samoosas if you’d like.
When the oil is heated up place the first pack of Samoosas carefully in the pan. Fry the Samoosas 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden and crispy. And add a sprinkle of salt on both sides for extra seasoning. When the Samoosas are done place them on top of some Kitchen Paper Towels to soak up excess oils. Repeat the process for the next two boxes of Samoosas.
Next, fry the chopped bacon over medium heat in a pan with a few drops of oil – For the crunch…
When the appetizer is done and ready to serve, place the Samoosas on a platter of your choice and sprinkle chopped spring onion, PnP Dry Italian Herbs, PnP Chilli Flakes and the crispy fried bacon bits over all the Samoosas. Serve the platter in the middle of the table or where guests can easily reach for it. Add some complementing sauces to the table with the Samoosas. Dig In!

So apparently here is where I share a little bit about myself… Well, here goes.
Hi! My name is Hanelize and recently I became Hanelize Robinson – My maiden name is White. I am a full time Christian Woman, and have a hand in a few local businesses, including my very own Neon Lilly Photography business.
Hubby and I got married on the 31st of August 2019, and we had one special day. Thereafter, we went to celebrate our marriage in Bali, Kuta. What an experience. An experience I will later tell you all about.
Not long after, I decided to start this blog “The Wife Life” in order to raise my opinions on the Wife Life, that seems to me is a lot different than what society has in mind. This blog is also about my general opinions and experiences that I want to share with the world.
I am excited to share this journey with you!
